Beautiful Decay
I am fascinated by the metamorphosis of the natural world. The birth in spring, the majesty leading to gradual fading of brilliance in summer, the beginning of decomposition in fall and the hibernation in winter. In particular, I find beauty in the degeneration, as the petals and leaves dry, lose their colour and begin to wilt. I made this series with remnants from my garden in an effort to hold onto and showcase their fleeting beauty.
